Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt/synopsis : Never Good Enough Until Now, is a very poignant story. Sharon is an Australian author and in her book she has opened her heart to tell her story knowing that it will help others have a greater understanding of themselves. It was not until Sharon reached her fiftieth birthday that she realised her whole life had been a reflection of the beliefs she developed from the instability of her childhood. The book teaches the values of how important nurturing is and the vital role of parents to a childs welfare. I spent my life searching for the answers to the wrong question. I was asking How could I heal the pain from my childhood? When in reality I should have been asking, How can I change the beliefs I created during my childhood?. Sharon openly shares the many adversities that she experienced and how she survived them. She reflects on the lessons and mistakes that we all have made at different times of our lives. It is through her personal and professional experience as an emergency nurse and a former police officer that raise the questions that allow the reader to reflect and interact on their own self. There are a lot of striking passages that would greatly move the hearts and outlook of a reader. This is a very personal book that will bring readers to smile, laugh and cry. Sharon is a life coach and wants to help people live the best lives they can.

Download PDF or read online Experiencing Religion Book by Clara Saraiva and published by LIT Verlag Münster. This book was released on 2016 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt/synopsis : The various ethnologists and anthropologists contributing to this volume focus on the "self"-perspective in relation to religion and spirituality: on how religiosity is personally thought, dreamt, imagined, created, felt, perceived and experienced, in its various subjective forms. The personal motive and practice in religion is here put to the front. One can see this perspective also reflected in today's society, in the ways people, most strongly in the West, are nowadays dealing with religion, religiosity or spirituality, often drifted far away from the institutional church organizations. As a deeply personal experience, it is amazing how little effort is undertaken in a scholarly way to put the personal reflections, utterings and experiences into words. A wide variety of personal religious or spiritual experiences, Christian and non-Christian, recent and historical, are now described and analysed in this fascinating volume. Clara Saraiva is a senior researcher at the Lisbon Institute for Scientific Tropical Research in Lisbon, a researcher of the Center for Research in Anthropology (cria) and a Professor at the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Peter Jan Margry is Professor for European ethnology at the University of Amsterdam and Senior Research Fellow at Meertens Institute, KNAW , Amsterdam. Lionel Obadia is professor in anthropology at the University of Lyon. Kinga Povedak is assistant research fellow at the has Research Group on Religious Culture,at Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Jose Mapril is lecturer in Anthropology at the New University of Lisbon and a research fellow at CRIA - New University of Lisbon (Centre for Anthropological Research). Download PDF or read online New Research on Pharmacogenetics Book by Linda P. Barnes and published by Nova Publishers. This book was released on 2007 with total page 636 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt/synopsis : The terms pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenetics tend to be used interchangeably, and a precise, consensus definition of either remains elusive. Pharmacogenetics is generally regarded as the study of genetic variation that gives rise to differing response to drugs, while pharmacogenomics is the broader application of genomic technologies to new drug discovery and further characterization of older drugs. Pharmacogenetics considers one or at most a few genes of interest, while pharmacogenomics considers the entire genome. Much of current clinical interest is at the level of pharmacogenetics, involving variation in genes involved in drug metabolism with a particular emphasis on improving drug safety. This new book presents leading-edge research in this dynamic field.

Download PDF or read online Only One Life Book by Kenneth N. Steward and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2008-06 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt/synopsis : ONLY ONE LIFE is the story of the life and ministry of Kenneth Steward. It reveals the adventures of a poor city-bred country boy who dreamed of one day growing up and traveling to see the world. That dream was fulfilled when he served with his wife as missionaries from the famine-plagued plains of Central India to the snow-capped Himalayas in the far north. Whether it was a hurricane in the Atlantic, a threatening mob in their village, or a horde of stinging bees in the jungles of Western India where they served in a small school for missionaries' children, God's hand of protection was on them. God eventually took them to British Columbia where they had a fruitful ministry with immigrants from India. Through nearly 60 years of ministry, the author and his wife came to experience God's provision in times of great need. Kenneth Steward was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota just before the Great Depression. He attended a Bible college in Southern Tennessee where he met his future wife, Wilma. Together they served as missionaries in the United States, India and Canada, as well as other places around the world. Though officially retiring at the end of 1990, they continued in active ministry until his wife sustained a stroke, as he was to begin a brief pastoral ministry on Prince Edward Island, Canada. The Stewards presently live in Southeastern Missouri at Missionary Acres, a retirement village operated by Baptist Mid-Missions.
